“Whilst the Manchester Hospitality community has always been strong, we felt there was a gap for the management and sales / marketing professionals within hospitality, so we decided to create our own group specifically for networking and support. 2500+ members later we believe the Manchester Hospitality Network can make a string impact on supporting the hospitality community, other associations and every professional involved”

Sophie Gwilliam
Board Director
Sophie is hospitality through and through. Starting as a 15 year old Saturday girl in her local cafe, she has worked her way up to manage tearooms and cocktail bars to then completely transform a former gastro pub to open the first American smokehouse in Shropshire- it’s success was a testament to the hard work and dedication with a team of over 50 employees before an offer was made that they couldn’t refuse and it was sold.
Sophie then went on to open a boutique hotel and sports bar/ diner in her hometown before moving to Manchester.
With years in hospitality sales working alongside hotels, spas and restaurants to now heading up the business and corporate development at Albert’s Schloss and becoming the face of Manchester’s most popular bar.
‘Joining the Manchester hospitality network is a real privilege as I am so passionate about bringing everyone to work together in the city from events, hotels and restaurants.
We can all help each other- I truly believe that networking is the most powerful thing you to do to elevate your career- MHN events are the best way to do just that. ‘
